Telstar and Terell Ondaan have agreed on a contract until 2020. The 25-year-old attacker will be transfer-free after his contract with PEC Zwolle expired this summer. In recent weeks, Ondaan has been training with the White Lions.
Ondaan is no stranger to Telstar. In the 2013/2014 season he was a short member of the selection of trainer Marcel Keizer. In a short period of time, the attacker made a big impression. In 3 games he scored 4 goals and was at the basis of a nice opening of the season. It earned him a transfer to Willem II. In that same season he had a good share in the championship of the Tricolores with 6 goals. Until 2016, Ondaan was under contract in Tilburg. After a season at Excelsior in Rotterdam, Ondaan moved to PEC Zwolle for the 2017/2018 season. He reached 28 matches in the Eredivisie.
"We think that with the arrival of Terell we are giving the selection a good boost. In addition to his footballing qualities, Terell also brings with him experience that we can really use. We are therefore very happy to be able to add Terell to the selection," explains technical director Piet Buter.
